Quick update, wastegate is tacked up ready for welding,

Mocked up a downpipe wich is going to be abit tricky

    Pipe shape..

Going to be drilling a whole in the intercooler pipe and screw in this truck alloy wheel valve to use for a boost source for the wastegate.

More updates when I can afford to buy things ha

This thing is going to fly mate That turbo is a beast!!

I'd consider getting your hot pipe welded together while you're getting the down pipe done (and that nipple welded on while you're at it)
Your heart is going to be broke with all those hoses popping off!

    Cheers dude

The nipple bolts in, did this last time and ran it for 2 years and never failed, a great idea really.

Got a lot to do though, link g4 ecu will be very soon.

I can't weld the hot pipe due to the way the pipework is positioned, bit of a ball ache tbh.

Hydraulic handbrake is going in this week aswell.

While the manifold is getting braced and waiting on parts iv been doing bits and pieces

Painting the center piece of the kouki lights

Will throw some laquer on tomorow

Reused a lambda sensor bracket and relocated it to stop it melting on the downpipe

Relocated the powered steering resavoir and the lines to the drivers side due to the turbo.

    Seem to be collecting turbos

Working on a cold air intake panel so il put some
    Pics up soon

Plumbed in my wastegate, manifold is braced and welded.

Got some blue vacuum hoses, mounted my catch can, picking up braided lines and hoses through the week.

    Update soon again

    Thanks

Finished the catch can breather layout and also recieved my 45 degree 4inch pipe for the turbo inlet.
Also wrapped my manifold in heat wrap.

Should have braided lines and exhaust flanges tomorow and then work on the downpipe can begin.

Not sure too add a flexi in the downpipe?

Love your car - pure insperation .
Always worth a flexi in a downpipe for added peace of mind :-)

    Cheers dude,

Yeah te flexi I think will have to happen, lot of weight/ strain on the turbo otherwise, think it's going to need some additional exhaust bracing.

Ordered a 90degree pipe for the turbo inlet instead of the 45 degree so I can get the filter sat in a better position.

Waiting on my turbo lines now.

Decided to swap my 45 degree pipe for a 90 degree one

New expansion tank from a Honda accord

Going to paint it black soon

Also got some fire sleeve for the loom near the manifold and for the oil return pipe

New braided lines and made a bracket to hold it away from where the downpipe will go

    More to come

Still waiting on parts but mocked up my cold air feed shelf thing and cut down my intake pipe to suit..

Obviously the anodised funnel will be sunk into the metal..

Once it's cut and put in il spray it black.

Not sure on what filter to get..

Got myself a greddy plenum sticker off danb and wire tucked my injector loom

Ecu choice is going to be a link g4 mapped by RB Motorsports,

    Fitted my 680cc's today..

Baught a fuel pressure reg adaptor but when it came it didn't fit, so I made one, chopped up the standard fpr and grinded it flat, then I cut the water outlet of an old ca18 throttle body to have welded one..

    Hope it works.

Next job is the downpipe wich is going to be a shit job. Has to curve around the wastegate.
