    Xbox live 12 month subscriptions

Has anyone bought one from a shady looking website / Playtrade seller etc?

I need to buy a 12 month code as I'm currently paying monthly and it will be half price if I pay £25 to a random person off of the street!

Sod it, I'm impatient and just ordered a 12 month subscription code from www.instantlivecodes.com for £25.99

I'll let you know if I've been done

They're not instant. Everyone I've seen that's mentioned them says it takes around 2-4 hours to arrive and they want to verify details first.

I'm at work now anyhow so even if it does turn up I won't be able to check it until tonight. I'll post on here how it goes.

I've received my code by email

Now just to see if they sold it to 10 other people as well

EDIT: Just redeemed it on www.xbox.com under the Account Management page (https://live.xbox.com/en-GB/accounts/MyAccount.aspx) and it worked fine

I ended up renewing mine with www.Live-Codes.com about a month ago. They take google checkout so I was a little happier using that than direct to an unknown site.

My Gold Membership has not ended after 24 months of having it. I originally purchased my code from eBay, it has never stopped. Whenever I look at expiry date, it always shows the current month

Have you got credit/debit card details stored against the account and it's automatically renewing on a monthly basis?

You're renewing monthly by the sounds of it, that's rather expensive!

hmmm but how much extra do you pay for the console?

look at the difference in price between the consoles and then work out how many years subscription to xbox live you can buy with that

then add the fact that not everyone has some sorta fancy tv to plug it into or any wish to use blu-ray
    bovvered?

I have not had any debits from any of my accounts, and my 360 shows my account as being a pre-paid 3 month card

Also, Microsoft have never had my card details, as I bought my only code from eBay Can't complain!

then look at how many games actually use full hd

convinced my 360 elite outputs full 1080
