Harry Potter & Half Blood Prince

Just come back from seeing it. Though entertaining in parts the ending just made me feel deflated. I hurd the critics didnt favor HP6, and it was all to do with romance, but it even lacked substance in the area the critics said it let the film down.

Im hoping that the Deathly Hallows parts 1 and 2 make up for the poor ending of this film.

Maybe im being too picky, but seriously i would wait for this to come on to DVD/ Blue Ray....or just wait for Sky to release it and not spend good money on a film that will just.....end.

    Anyone else seen it yet?

I haven't, but if it's like the book, then it's an odd film, and probably a very hard book to film if I'm honest. In the book there's a lot of nothing happening, then a trip with Dumbledor, then a lot of nothing, then Ohh Hormones, etc..

    Until the end. No spoilers.

Yep, saw it last night too

    I agree with Wallers.
I would say it's a very slow film with lots of info rather than action. Though I was waiting the end big scene from the book 6 & they didn't put it in!
It's got a lot of hormones, teenage fancying & comedy in it though.

However, HP&TDH (7) are going to be mega, epic films on a parr with LOTR I think - can't wait (Nov '10 roll on)

I thought it was an excellent film... like all films, they are never as good as a book!

I'm going to see it tomorrow night. As long as its better than POA i'll be happy, I think that it is the worst film in the series.

I would totally disagree with that and say it was easily the best, and they went to pot after it. Each to their own

Saw this last night, not read the book and I must say for most of the film I was a bit lost as to what was happening.

    Bloody enjoyed it though.
