what colour shall i paint my wheels?

as above, the laquer on the silver part was starting to flake so i've stripped it off and polished them (well, in the process of)

by doing this i have slightly damaged the black paint on the spokes but i'm not that fussed as i was going to paint them anyway.

i'm hoping to do it myself to keep costs down as well but the question is, what colour? my options so far are....

gloss black (as they are now)
satin/matt black
damson/colour of the car
gun metal/graphite

any other ideas/colours welcome

I say a damson s14a on colour coded (damson) ultralites and it looked mint..

Definitely.

Just do something tasteful! Silver would be the safest bet against the damson.

you can get silver/polished versions of the wheel which is why i was think gunmetal/grey would be cool.

my right mouse button isn't working?!?!? but if you google axe hiro you can see it in silver.

absolutely hell no on the fluro colours!!!

would have to see a pic of them with damson spokes to go for that but would probably need them done professionally to get a good finish

i did consider gold as i saw some earlier that looked quite sweet, need to finis some pictures......

well i thought sod it i'll give it a go myself at spraying them satin black and just primered them up. as usual i havent done things properly and when i used paint stripper to get the laquer off i got some oon the spokes which didn't show too much till i primered them but its mainly to see what they will look like.



i'll flat them down tomorrow and spray them black. if i like them then i'll get them done properly

theres no runs but where the nitromors touched the spokes its taken fairly big bits of paint off but i should get the idea of what i want when they're satin black.

wish i'd never started but once i got so far i couldn't go back lol.

its the last time i ever buy one peice rims!!!
