Might have to remove my vote after seeing there isn't going to be too many people there. I can't make the weekender so was looking forward to this but i might just head to the pod instead now

My 2p's worth. If the club are attending the event, they should make it as good an event as possible for members attending. I haven't been to JAE since Billing and it sounds like things have changed quite a bit and from reading posts in this thread, the organisers are not prepared to listen - the only way I see organiser's of the event changing is to not attend the event to hopefully shock them into changing their ways if people aren't attending

I won't be going as the complete absence of traders plus the poor organisation last year (by JAE staff not SXOC staff) means I don't think it would be interesting.

Weekender doesn't do it for me personally as I like looking at other cars as well as 200s.

The 'Pod sounds interesting though. Maybe we could have an unofficial get together of 200s if a few from the club are going ?

I would have been interested in going seeing as I'm offshore for the weekender but unfotunately I'm gonna be offshore for JAE as well.

Big no no from me, I've been to everyone for the last 6 years since joining the club and had a fantastic time at them all, but like most people say it was SXOC that made it for me and the people and if the core people aren't going to be attending, then I don't see the point

I can't even be bothered to attend to defend my eating championship either

    Weekender FTW!!

Why is it a case of either or for most people? Can't you attend the weekender and JAE.

You've made sure of that by withdrawing the club's support for the event...

See you at the weekender .

No the organisers gave made sure of it buy systematically ruining the event over the past 2 or 3 years You will find most people who have been to 4or 5 JAE's all feel the same

SXOC doesnt need JAE to have a good time We outgrew it IMO So why not put the clubs effort into events where we wont get told to turn it down after 10pm or come round nicking your beer coz its in the wrong bottle

Actually, now you mention it they did pinch 12 beers off me . B******s.

For some reason I feel like we should have a cuddle when we see each other next Mark. I'm going to fatten up for it so I'm extra cuddly. If you're not a cuddler, a handshake will suffice.

    Peace and love.

I pretty much dont go to any of the events now. Too many little hitlers makes it all far too authoritarian for me. Some people need to chill out..

But one difference. with a few people driving on the Sunday i noted the Saturday night at the weekender seemed more tame.
that be me then...stopped drinking at 9:30pm in aid of driving the following day :nods:

As for JAE, I've been put off going and the main reason I (personally) attend is because of the SXOC company and it looks like the vast majority (if not all) of them aren't going, so very doubtful we will be making an appearance this year.

    Weekender FTW
