i used to have a mk1 polo with the golf 1600 driver engine on twin carbs, would love another one or a notchback.
sexytime, but more importantly how low is it
we thought ud been abducted, finally progress!
I'll let it slide then
Dude! You can get a full set of springs and dampers for one of these for about £125! The polo that Messydan posted was my old polo, it had one of the aforementioned kits on it!
Chuck me a pm and I'll send you in the right direction - I may well be pm'ing you about those carbs soon anyway...
Good work. I saw a mint one of these the other day... I wanted to buy it there and then!
Well spotted
looks good
my mates got a g40 one he might have some arches going if your interested
the ones that go over the arches and round the bottom of the sills
Can't practically be done on these cars mate. The photo of the polo posted by messydan (my old polo) was lowered 60mm. On standard 13" steelies, it was too low to get tracking equipment over the wheels and too low to gte over the speed bumps at my work.
If you want a polo you can still drive, 60mm is the max you can drop it.
Anyone good on carbs , mine are flooding, been told its either the floats or the float vlaves but got no idea where to start. Their GSXR 600 Carbs, idealy a diagram would be nice!
any luck on the dub forums?, when i upgraded to a weber on my golf i had to change the jets,
