You using proper painters masking tape?

I think so! got it from DIY shop but the tape I already had was smooth to touch and the tape I bought has a texture to it!I am a newbie to spraying so any advice would be handy?

masking tape will always bleed on no matter how hard you try to stick to down, for straight edges you need to get yourself some fine line tape and use that then fill the void with masking tape, you should have perfect straight lines then.

I have an image I'd like to put onto my rocker cover and I was thinking of getting it printed to vinyl and sticking it onto a painted cover and then laqcuering over the top. Will this work or will the decal be affected by the heat?

I shaved my rocker + plug panel and now my brother is having a Japanese sakura blossoms design airbrushed on for me by a mate of his. Received a work in progress pic today, very curious as to how it will turn out . Branches are real gold leaf .
