Oh my giddy aunt. What the hell is going on?! QPR are LEADING!! 10 men because Barton is a stupid asshole with a temper issue. But LEADING.

And that makes Man U bob on for the title. City have to get 2 goals or bust.

Spurs 2-0 up, but not doing it in style Arsenal comeback means 4th looks best we're gonna get. Boo

Yeah, City have played the better football

Not to mention the arse-fookin' they gave us at Old Trafford.

    Well played.

well done to City, over the season they did play a lot of great stuff, not so disheartend by Utd one of their worst teams for ages and only losing the title on goal difference is still a massive acheivement..

Barton what a grade A muppet, maybe he wanted to do his old team a favour

City won the league in Fergie time.

I guess irony can be pretty ironic sometimes.

Whatever else, head to head City were the better team, 89 points from a not great Utd side is some going though.

Tim Howard; more goals than Downing.

Edit; In other news, Happy St Totteringhams Day. Mind the Gap.

Blimin, still got my headache, from all the stress of the Arsenal game, 2-1 down, to go on and win. 3rd space sorted. Not bad considering, its arsenals worse team bar RVP in a long time, and what has been a poor season in reality without another trophy, but still managing 3rd space doesnt seem so bad now.

I think they won it when they pwned United 6-1 at OT - that was such a big statement of intent.

Must admit when that happened I thought the Utd fans could be very proud of their team, because it showed what makes them great. Despite being 3-1 down and down to ten men they had the bo**ocks to try and get back in it.

Amazing finish and due to the wonders of Sky+ we had three phones and an iPad stacked up in the pub watching both games and Sports Centre. As the Man U whistle went and my mate started crowing about being "championes" the rest of us were watching City score, he wasnt best pleased - we also knew before the stadium, players and Fergie, their faces were a picture.

What, 1 point and identical goal difference, with Spurs going through until after halftime? Clutching at straws much?

If the ref had been looking against Chelsea we probably would have got the extra point too:

Never mind, we'll just have to embarass you in the Champions League again

Dude, FA Cup, no points The Man City game, however, well that would have been a turning point for me.... To lose like that sucked balls.

I think Arsenal got a bit lucky in their game but it shouldn't have come down to that for Spurs - they threw it away on their own accord. Kind of performances and results they turned in against Norwich and QPR were shocking. Yes, for the majority of the season they played very well and no, they didn't have the greatest slices of luck in the big games, but bread and butter games like that you have to get through otherwise you're not going to maintain top 4 push.

I think it was a really good season for Spurs, as that's consistency for the top positions over a sustained period. For me, now, there has to be something radical happen to crack the top 3 proper. That would start with having a gate attendance higher than the likes of Sunderland And probably have to incorporate paying more than £60k a week to top stars who can attract big clubs paying £150k a week upwards.

Ahh, was confusing Balotelli stamping away like something out of Riverdance with the blind linesman. So used to getting fcuked over I forget which one is which

TBF, Spurs, Arsenal, Newcastle, Man U and Man City have all thrown it away at some point this season, thats probably made it the best finish I remember. It will only be a good season if Bayern beat Chelasea though.
