Mine lasted a week before a shock burst a leak and then very sadly i had to fit some coilovers as the dampers were all shot. Fitted some new superstreets and never looked back.

nice car beats an mx3 any day!! you have a pm by the way.
I would recommend, if possible, riding in a car with coilovers before you get them fitted to yours, to ensure you can live with the resulting ride quality.
For a road car, consider some KYB adjustable shocks and a set of lowering springs
Welcome to the board by the way, I drove mine around as an auto for the first year or so, converted to manual and to be honest, it is alot more run. But it was expensive and it was a lot of hassle for my friend who helped me (did 95% of the work for me!)
Take it easy at this time of year, greasy roads will soon result in a lack of traction
Hi Mate, and welcome to the madhouse
The main thing here guys is what Wilko wants from his car and how he will use it. Also take into account how much of a cautious driver he is.
I got brakes first, then power then suspension. However i just wanted to say that if the car is for everyday use, and ur not a total loon, then you don't need coilovers, and you don't need ARBs or pineapple rings. If and when you can afford them they are a good upgrade. I have a good amount of power now, but i had stock suspension for a long time. i have to say it was ok. i now have eibach springs on standard shocks, and it sits nicely (looks good) and also handles well enough for my needs.
Also, i would say get a Induction Kit and Exhaust (decat) to see a good improvement. I bought a bailey dump valve as on eof my first mods, and sold it after reading it effects fueling etc.
The induction noise is suffice for me, sounds awesome. However after doing my boyracer scene, and growing up I wanted a car that was fast but stealth. Hence i have a HKS silent, R33 GTR wheels, and the standard recirc.
However, the main thing is, that Wilko knows what he wants and can handle the RWD power
bass junkie: Only thing I'm really interested in is out dragging cars in a straight line, other people may want to do other things that require those upgrades.
you dont want coilovers for dragging.. just make it stiff as hell and cause the wheels to light up!!
you been talking to Jay??? Think thats what he is going to tell me!!
