    It has higher flow.

    S15 pump is a better option tho as it'll bolt straight on and is pretty much the same as the GTiR pump in terms of flow.

    ok i know that but .... i keep reading bits in banzai where rwd sr`s have gtir pumps fitted as an upgrade so is the casing the same or not if not why not anybody...

    It can be fitted buts its alot of work for not alot if not no gain. You have to drill out the gti-r housing, piss out with modding woodruff keys, ect.

    Just use a S15 one as Ben said.

    I'm guessing that this came about because the GTiR oil pump is a significant upgrade to the S13 SR pump. The S14/15 pumps are different again and have higher flow to support the VVT...

    By all accounts the S15 oil pump is the best one to use on a RWD SR.

    i thought the s14/s15 sr20det vvt engine had the same pump only the de and non vvt det had a slightly different one

    S14 pump is 13500-69F00.

    I am yet to find the S15 pump part no. Maybe is on RHD japan, I can't get on that site at work.
