Possible SXOC Torches

Right after the response in the feedback thread for a torch i have been looking around whats available. Obviously we dont want some tatty plastic item so I have only considered metal ones

Here are some that i think are worth considering

12 LED





9 LED (1st)





9 LED (2nd)





3 LED


Pricewise they should all work out around £10 so what do we think?

Like the third one myself and would definatley purchase any of them if they go on sale as i lost my maglight a while back

More LEDs should mean more light, which is better More light means silly people who dont want swirls can hunt them down easier....

12 led looks good for working in places where space is limited

I have one VERY similar to the 12 LED torch allready and would definatley buy another one!

Mine has 3 tripple A batterys in it and they last ages and ages

The light out put is impressive too!

I tell you what i shall do a crude video for you all now lol

Battery life will all depend on what batteries you use

I think they all take 2 or 3 AAA batteries so you could always get rechargeable batteries which would be a cheaper and more flexible option than sourcing a rechargeable torch

the first or the 4th look well.. cheap too, i have one similer to the second torch and the light is brilliant out of it!!

Which ever one puts out the most light with a decent reflector in it. I've got one very similar to number 9, and whilst handy, the light output is a bit cack really. A regular torch is much better.
