    Most powerful 200sx in Scotland

To further this thread and to keep it tidy:
    http://www.sxoc.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=387106

I just want to know which is the most powerful CA, SR and non-200sx engined s-body in Scotland?

The old list seems like it needs to be updated from the looks of things lol

    I'm guessing, but:

SR = Roy for now but probably James soon.
CA = Was Big Mac I think but probably Mike or Kev now. I'm not sure tbh.
Non standard = Gordon's for now but probably Big Mac by a country mile soon.

Power figures don't really mean sh!t in the real world though. Particuarly if the car spends most of it's life on a trailer.

    Very true.

My own car although fully road legal and properly MOT'd ( even passes the emissions, with no cat, which there are very few on the whole board can say that.) Does spend it life on the trailer due to gearing as it's needing sorted and then it should be more user and road friendly, and with the correct gearing 3.0:1 rear diff or manual 5spd box with .82 overdrive return 25 mpg on a run.

Try that with your wobbly cranky thing!

Since certain cars have never showed up to a club rr day most of the figures are not comparable.

Generally we all agree that dastek rollers are best for comparison, because we have had a good few club days there, u would maybe find that Adrian (who hates being called Ade btw) would get another 10bhp from running those rollers instead of the abz ones, though equally he may loose that.

Most powerful sr to the best of my knowledge is roys.
Most powerful ca, not sure actually, im at 300, but i think theres someone who has 350+ in scotland (edit, its mike im sure)
Most powerful hybrid is 2 runny lines

Every one of them will change this year though, thats guaranteed, as we all know of some mental builds going on.

i no longer own the Mighty CA so its not me anymore, also my car never ran on dasteks rollers so unfortunetly cant really compare it with others like for like.

in recent years the apparent differences between AVA's rollers and dasteks rollers has decreased but not to such a point id be confident in speculating who's got what.

the new owner of my engine is planning on upping the power which will be good to see what it can do.

as for the rb30, well its a long way off, a bit of a combination of things taking time to be built, problem solving, getting the shell ready and of course paying for it, add to that the fact im trying to buy my second house may mean that the car has to come second (thats assuming i dont have to sell it)

when alot of the projects are finished we should have a big RR day and compare like for like on the same day, that would rock!!

Andy that would be cool, but we all know u will never get all the projects to be completed at one time, and if they were, another 5 folk would be in the middle of thier projects

I'm certainly not heading for big power this year, my engine ran 280bhp on the rollers last time it was used and I'll be keeping it the way it is for the forseable future.
