    Temp Puncture Repair

.............. not sure if I should really post this....but been talked into it

I have a slow puncture in my Hilux and on Saturday after I left the garage I realised I forgot the pump to blow up the tyre. I needed the Hilux as there was snow and lots of ice here at the weekend..... anyway, I found an ideal temp solution.....

    BLU TAK

I pushed it onto the hole where the air was hissing out of the Winter tyres and hey presto the air stopped coming out! Yippee!!
It lasted all night and I was able to use it the next morning to go up to the farm to feed the ponies.

only prob I have encountered is that my repair was only okay whilst it was parked. After driving the blu tak had fallen out

...... now just taken wheel off and taking it to get it fixed properly!

    LOL, good botch !

Best botch I've found is "Slime". No good for high speed, but it will certainly get you home!

On slower vehicles, quads, pushbikes etc. You can just put it in and leave it there
