Fakes are for s
Either buy a watch you can afford or don't, simple as that
I have a couple of Tags because I can afford them, if I couldn't I wouldn't
Why try and and pretend you are something you are not
Its like me dying my hair black. Im ginger, why should I pretend to have black hair......I really don't get the whole fake watch (or clothing or anything else really) thing
The name on the watch dosent bother me could be a timex or swatch for all i care, but ive been looking around the shops and i cant see any that i really like, looking on the net at other big name watches and ive seen some that i like the look of, but there is no way i would pay the prices they want, so a fake is fine by me, it could even have the name spelt wrong for all i care, i would have one cause i like the look of it.
I've got a real Breitling. I wouldn't think about getting a fake one though. If I did it would have to be like £30. I just can't believe people pay £150 for a fake
I used to spend a fortune on watches and was always wanting a really high end Rolex... but then one day I forgot to wear my watch, never put it on and i've not worn one for 2 years. At the end of the day it's a fancy piece of jewelry and my iPhone keeps better time
Like any luxury goods, you either are into them or not. Some people on here would love to own a Porsche or Aston but a person that drives a Fiat Panda would not understand why on earth someone would ever spend so much money on a car.
There are certainly loads of people that dont understand spending loads of money modifying cars when they dont add any inherent value to the sale of the car but we do it because we can.
Some funny comments in here. Fossil make good watches, and for £150 you could get yourself a really nice watch
Oh jesus, I haven't laughed that hard in years. Cheers guys

Oh and expensive fakes are gayer than Rota's
In my collection have a 1930's Rolex and a £4 Bangkok rolex. I wear the 30's one for very special occaisons and the Bangkok one at work. The only reason I wear it is because its the cheapest analogue watch I could find (I hate digital btw, just my preferance)

£2k is a tad excessive, but £150 from a decent brand isn't going to be "really nice" is it.
Its been nearly 2 years since I sold watches, but I seem to remember the cheapest watch I would ever recommend was a Tissot PR50, which retials at £120ish? Its a damn good watch, but its not "really nice"
If you want a really nice watch froma good brand, I would say a budget of around £400 would get you a good one
On my Casio the numbers glow green when you press the light button as opposed to the normal back lit screen. Words don't really do it justice, you would need to spend some time in a darkened room with me to truly understand the awesomeness.
You might think i'm joking, but it really is cool!
Fake is
Well its not a watch, but a mate of mine bought a pair of trainers branded "Locost"...i pi$$ed myself when he was flashing the snazzy foot wear lol.
Seiko make good affordable watches, plus they are JDM tyte or something like that
