Not much use to the northern peeps on here, but (robbed from another forum) the Strathclydes finest have a silver Range Rover that there now using on the M77 and other roads too! and there's a strong suggestion theve also got a Mini Cooper as well.

Apparently they have a evo 10 and a unmarked new scoob too
I've spotted the Evo 10, fully marked and badged up by strathclydes finest, they have it for 6 months to see how they get on with it and are loving it, nobody wants the mercs or bmw's now.
We can blame Mitsibushi, they wouldn't touch evos in strathclyde due to the service intervals but its now 9000 rather than 3000miles or something similar.

Yup, have seen that pulling someone on the M8. They do/did have a new shape STi in black (BL57***), there's also been a silver A4/A6 estate pulling people in the city centre but apparently it's not traffics.Originally Posted by wildwest

In Edinburgh so far I've seen (all undercover cars):
1.Silver Range rover Sport. Its a special model like AMG, M series etc.
2. Silver M5 estate, I have the plate somewhere.
3. Mk4 golf tdi in purple
Numerous others, we have a list at work as we do a lot of driving.

There was a time when the unmarked cars were typically of a certain brand ie Volvo, VW, Merc. Now they can be anything argh! In Glasgow I've seen an unmarked dark blue Toyota Rav4 flying past on the M74 with grill lights blazing 3 months ago.
Here they also have a new silver 5 series BMW and a silver SAAB estate car.....i've already had a tug from it....apparently they hears me coming
Can't say i've seen the evo or scoobs yet though.

I heard rumours of a banged up omega unmarked one in edinburgh...they purposely smashed the bodywork in to make it look more normal...never seen it though
Well today driving through Prestwich we seen a black Mitsubishi people carrier thing un-marked heading in towards the town, was stoppede at light's opposite us, they were sat in it uniformed, and the 5 aerials on it's roof was also a sign...along with the extra lights stuck to the bumper, dirty fly fks.
Theres also a white bmw e38 in white lowered on alpines! Nice looking motor aswell
I've noticed they've started to get more stealthy with the aerials too Maddogsx. I've seen the occasional unmarked car without multiple aerials. But they always have two rear mirrors but by the time you've noticed that they're right on top of you. Hard to make any of it out in the dark though.
Also the un-marked's can be sometimes spotted as they've a camera planted on the front screen.
Un-marked, a piece of nonsense, they should all be marked.
