Got my 1st 200sx s14

hey guys my names Max im 18 and i bought my s14 last sunday and i picked it up from birmingham 'jay1314' and drove straight to newport to pick up my alloys from newport 'Madda'.
You may have seen the s14 on the for sale forum it was the totaly standard s14 and was only selling at £1500 so i bought it and i took it to my mate who had a s14 and he said he couldnt believe how clean the car was for the money i paid it has no rust, full service history with nissan, imaculate interior and clean engine.

I am totaly addicted to the forum now im always on looking for new things and see what other people are doing on there projects.

It was my bosses fault i ended up with the car i seen his old 1 and i loved it so i had to have 1 it was my birthday and paypacket that weekend so i went and fetched it lol

Just because you're policy allows you to drive other cars and be covered, does it mean you are allowed to own 2 cars and just insure the 1???

I may be only 18 but ym insurance is only £250 a year because i am fully comp on my mg zr with quinne which makes me able to drive anyones car with the owners permission :P

Be careful and read the terms and conditions on this - the car usually has to be owned by someone else, and insured independantly by them, for this to be legal. And even then you are only insured third party; no fire or theft cover

It's not a way around it if you aren't legally insured, which, on the face of it, it doesn't look like you are. So it is fraud, and if you are caught you won't be lol'ing when bubba catches up with you in prison and you become his bitch

my mg used to be in max power and had £20000 spent on it i bought it for £6500 at 22000 miles its only done 26000 now and some1 offered me 7 so once thts gone moneys going on the 200 as my 200 is my own project which is why im here not because the mg lol

If you really have been offered £7k for what is essentially a warmed over Rover, snap their fcuking arm off for it. And spend some of that money insuring your 200 properly. From posts on here, that will account for at least half of that

As an aside, how the hell does anyone manage to spend £20k on a Rover?

i would say previous owner spent the 20k on ice and a kit.

insure the car properly mate and keep it standard for a while till you get used to it. listen to the voice of experience.

ye i know im not crazy im taking the car off the road over xmas to built it up dont want to wreck it, im kitting it and and everything then just stage 1 for time being
