cosworth fiesta... mates giving it the big one

"the clocks only go to 160 and it does that its go t4 360 d bearing cut back blades group a every thing witch means u can run high boost runs at 25psi its not how big the turbo looks its whats in side the turbo

t34 803 green injecters and a modified map sensor WISECO pistons, lightened and balanced camshaft, flywheel and crank shaft the ccompression ratio 8.4:1, high pressure oil pump, 596Nm of torque at 4730rpm"

seems a ill ott imo but anyone know if this sounds on the level?

You want to know if it'll do 160?

Why shouldn't it? Our 200s can do 155 straight out the box iirc.

I would say that a fiesta with 350bhp would shift slightly yes

you say cosworth fiesta...but does that mean its using cossie running gear or a yb type engine?? you given us the mods fair play sound gr8 for sure but we need to know the base car...my guess is your taking bout a fez running a yb cosworth engine in which case yeah it should fly

those old t34s provide some good puff...if his rods can take it all and do sustained high rpm then you are gonna get your ass blown away to 155 then he will just drive away from you unless you can answer with stage 3a power with cams..you might need more to

    Over 160 in a 350bhp cosworth'd fiesta...i reckon so

    I know theres a 1.6 escort RST which has 300bhp that'll do over 160

You can make just about anything shift if you stick enough power into it.
160 would be well on the cards no problem... But then again it will have prob torque steered into the central reservation before then

Its still a fiesta at the end of the day.....

i also hate it when the ford idiots give it the " its got a GROUP A *insert any part here * "

its like its some sort of holy grail? GROUP A HEADGASKET for a YB motor is just a standard but genuine ford head gasket,

at end of the day the YB, CVH, HCS motors are based on ancient engine arcitecture with large heavy components that you need to throw big $$$ at to get decent power out of, even then, the run time/reliability is limited....

sorry, rant over, ive had a few run ins with the " blue oval racing " crowd....mainly rally drivers....

edit, oil pumps do not create pressure, they create flow, its the clearances within the engine that create the pressure....but its probably a GROUP A PUMP so god knows what else it can do....

    rant definately over now

Are we talking about some new Cossie Fiesta or something? If its a modded Fiesta maybe the clocks only go upto 160 because they haven't been changed?

If its some new model Fiesta I doubt Ford would release it with 350bhp tbh as it'l step too hard on the toes of the higher end Focii... 250bhp or so would be more realistic so that it could out do the Corsa VXR...

If its a modded Fiesta, I'd be dissapointed if it only did 160 with 350bhp
