Dyno day..
So dyno day came up after a good while of ****ing around with ecu's, i've been running some irritating lean issues and finally decided to go for a Nistune ECU.
I arranged a mapping session with Steve Sadler from FC Tuning, we met over in Kent at the Hayes Engineering dyno.
After some Z32 wiring issues we were good to go..
The car was running mega lean and the dyno guy actually didn't even want to run it incase of a blown motor
Steve sorted out my map and netted me these figures:
We were fumbled by the HKS actuator not holding enough preload to maintain a highboost 1.3bar+ run without dropping down to actuator pressure so the headline figure isn't great. Still the torque and drivability is superb, the car has never felt so responsive and smooth since i've had it.
I also got some new toys:
- Bee*R rev limiter (rocker arm eating fireworks provider)
- Import numberplate, to lose the hastily erected stock UK plate attrocity
- HKS super power flow intake

It drives really smoothly, the car almost feels like a meaty NA, I think this power level and torque makes a really nice road car.
Unfortunately I'm locked into a big turbo competion with Morf and Graham so this one isn't going to cut it
I'm saving up for my new daily but when I buy it and can afford to lose this for a month or so I'll be giving you a call

Cool man, my current setup showed that with a stock actuator it would be happy at 1.3bar which should have given me 320/330hp. It's a neat turbo

The filters we're really reasonable, £21 delivered from toxicrides on ebay. Toxicrides is a big store in herts with lots of stock so I definately rate them.

So we did a couple of tweaks today; a new front numberplate mount and we lowered the back.
Morf put this seat down for like literally 10 seconds and this cat snatched it

You know that im just going to covertly transfer all of the items of value from it into my car, stuff you wont notice right away of course... big injectiors, turbo, elbow, downpipe etc. When you drive it in a few months itll be running a nice unhealthy lean 220bhp. But by then youll be so used to 1Jz power that you wont even notice. Muuuhahahah
BTW, bought my coilovers. Can you and morf come help fit them? And bring my seat back plex.
