    I AM NO EXPERT however,
That is not too high per say however 10.5 is very very very rich. Is this in 4th or 5th gear near the rev limiter?
11.3-11.5 is the richest I personally would go. currently at 12.
if you lower the fueling does the EGT climb? If it does not, then there is no point in going so rich. If it does climb you need to look at modifying you ignition. It maybe too high or even too low.

just my opinion but wait for the experts to chime in.

Depends where the EGT sensor is...

If its before the turbo then 880 is fine, if its after then the figure is pretty pointless anyway...

    Hi.

EGT probe is located on the standard manifold, about 3 cms far from engine block, in the4th# outlet.
I believe that A/F figure is pretty rich. It is recorded in 4th from 5000 rpms

    Thanks.

    Hi,
After solved an air intake leak it seems EGT has dropped to 750ºC ¿? How come?
I thought air leak would make A/F ratio pretty rich so chamber temp would be kept lower.
Now A/F ratio has turned leaner, let say sensor reads 11 in the point it readed below 10 when air leak wasn't solved and the car pulls great now and even I can turn the boost up to 1,4 bar without detonation. Silly.

Another question: May super rich AFR be causing bore wash? And if so is there any relationship between bore wash and oil consumption?
It seems my car doesn't use oil (1 liter between oil changes) as it used to do before air leak fix.
    Thank you.
