Yeah its spooling from 1500 and making full boost about 3000 right upto the redline at 8000rpm!!!!

Going for a GT3071r but not until next year now, i just wanna do a few track days before the weather gets too bad and generally enjoy driving it for a while,

well if your running stiff suspension the exhuast scrapes and gets knock around more often then not pulling and pushing it about...as the turbo is connected to the exhaust that also moves around causing the gaskets to blow

Ok i think ive just about had enough now, engine went pop weekend before last, my fault entirely, i missed a gear out on track 4th to 3rd at 130ish mph, smoke everywhere, i think its melted the rings amongst other things (i ve not pulled it apart yet), bottom end seems ok though, no knocking, but lots of piston slap.....
Do i re build again or turn gay and stick an sr or ls1 in it?

part of me says stick with the ca18det,but then another part of me says a V8 would suit your car sooo well

    Boo Gutter dude.
I reckon the character and the style of the car will really suit a big snarly V8
It doesn't even have to be that quick, just has to sound like 3 bowling balls in a tumble drier on idle.
