I would have to say yes, it has no real practical use apart from showing off to others, i've been considering putting some white LED's in the interior just to aid lighting etc, but as for exterior, not for me.

White LEDs under your bonnet so you can turn them on to see what you're doing once you've broken down at night is a good idea.
Green LEDs around your FMIC aren't, though that's only my opinion.

I think the only way it could be more chavy is if you wired up about eight different colours and fashoned the beams of light in to a burbury pattern

I would probably use a single neon above the fmic to highlight it, obviously for shows but not road use, its not a bad idea and as long as its fitted and the car is styled right it could look good.

Personally i always thought neons were shite if you can see the tube... which is true. BUT if you could only see the glow then it COULD look cool. Mate of mine had a black beamer with chrome wheels with a purpleish coloured neon kit underneath... all you could see was the glow but it looked like it was floating at night! was fecking cool imo to have a floating car
