SXOC NW Monthly Meet - Tue 23rd Sept - 7pm - The Black Swan

Following on from the NW meets thread, the consensus was to try a pub as close to Mascrat as possible as it was deemed the location that suited the most in our region.

So, clear your diaries of all other commitments, which are obviously not as important, take advantage of the lowering petrol prices, and get yourselves down to the Black Swan.

If you come off the M6 at J21, you will see the roundabout Mascrat is on, from here head East along the A57 to Irlam and Manchester, through a set of lights, and as the road starts to turn into a dual carriageway take the slip road off to your left.

Continue down this road, past the first pub (Red Lion or Red Cat), and you will get to the Black Swan one minute later.

The link below shows the Mascrat M6 junction, an the A57 to the pub, which is where the word Hollinfare is on the map.

There is also a cracking little road running across from the East Lancs to the pub, so if anyone wants to meet on the East Lancs at the petrol station next to the Culcheth/Leigh roundabout, then say so

I'll try to get there, I'm hoping someone will have a listen to the weird high-pitched shrieking I get on boost and suggest whether it might be either boost leak, failing turbo, or completely standard noise you get after fitting an Apexi induction kit
