s14 caliper bolts, what are their specification?

I'm looking to change my calipers asap, and I know for a fact at least one of calipers bolts is fcuked, so I was wondering if anyone source a replacement caliper bolt for an s14 from somewhere other than Nissan?

I suppose I need to know the bolt length, thread type, grade of steel etc.

Anybody got any ideas?

you mean the bolts that hold the caliper onto the car?
best bet would be go to a motor parts place (a proper one, not halfrauds!) and take it with you and see if they got anything that fits

or just stick a post in the wanted section on here, someones bound to have em lying around spare

ideally try and locate a wholesale fasteners company. I have one in my town and they always come up trumps. They will cut bolts to size and advise of best metals. Mine also do M8 Locking K-nuts for 30p each, result!

I know this bit M12, 40mm

rated 10.9 high tensile I think, but Nissan mark them with their own code

Think thread is fine which is 1.25mm

You'd have to check by measuring one
