Gotta say the detailing on this thing is incredible - the metal grate type thing that runs right around the interior is the bollox, the guages with that mad tunnel look and those rear lights

I paid £5k. Now people who aren't in to yanks would say thats expensive, but anyone who knows their yank prices would say its quite cheap because £5k doesn't buy much yank. You'd be looking at late 70's trans ams or firebirds instead for the cash.
Mustang's are at least £10k for anything reasonable and all the good ones are more like £20k. The prices have really shot up over the last 10 years, which for the buyers is a real kick in the balls.
5k ? you are joking? you got the bargain of the century. I have been into these things for around ten years, can remember when you could get a 79 trans am for around 1500 quid. My friend has a road runner which is all done out for a circuit racer, he is asking 20k for it.
