i dont mind the colour. i have gold wheels on my car.
bad thing is i crashed it earlyer today i got lots or back bumper work to do now .
have you gone for them wheels for the brakes?
Went for the wheels because they're light and strong, and because Jules measured them and said there was lots of brakes clearance... and they didn't look bright gold in the pictures!
i can put you in touch with a fellow i know near me if you'd like a quality refurb on a small budget.
it does look ace though [in a 555 sonic blue and goldness way]
i look forward to a flight in it
Very nice!
Will be interesting to see how it puts the power down. Especially with the weight distribution. I only know of one other RB26 S15 (not personally lol) - the Tein Time Attack S15. And they spent a a fair bit of time on fabrication to sit the block further back.
I think its safe to say they suceeded:

Pretty sure money wasnt an issue though lol!
Blimey, that's stunning! I know my engine is as far back as can be without taking a grinder to the bulkhead with venom! I am sure i'll be happy with it, it cant weigh that much more, if I do some jigging about with moving the battery to the boot, and fit composit panels, I reckon it wont be far off....
And the power should make up for any shortcomings Or I hope it will at least...
Steve, give me an idea on pricings of your man! Thing is, these have only just been refurbed
Yeah pretty impressive but that thing is just a "money no concern" jobby.
Check out some of the other pics, they literally stripped it down to a bare shell then got busy with a grinder and support bars.
Oh and by the way....
Nice choice of colour
You seen the Driftworks machine? That also is a work of genious
I intend on putting some miles on mine however, so having the engine in the cabin just woulnd't be clever! Might help Mike locate all the radiators though
I've just realised this is the 15 I wanted to steal at Buffy's... (yes.. bit slow..)
I'd look at the possiblity of going for wide fenders on the rear, just to hide some 265s or something similar. Aslong as you dont mind moving away from the stock look. But I always say everything can be done tastefully!
I want to keep it looking original, or as much as can be with huge wheels and brakes...
I am hoping that it'll be fun to drive, but not terrifying with the wheels / tyres its got
What state was it in when you saw it loulou?
I look forward to a passenger ride Ben!
I love the fact you're keeping it standish looking.
looking good mate
Assuming it arrives on Monday at some point as currently planned... what are your plans Monday night?
I will be putting some miles on it that day, got to get used to it
Thanks matey Going to get to see it in the flesh soon! Woot woot!
Was a South area Christmas do tonight, and I got poked into pestering Mr Buffy for an update, and other than being told to tell them to stop pestering, it was also confirmed all is on track So it's looking good for next week!!!
<---- is there an option for a smiley with a bigger grin than this?
