    Hello from Germany

    Hey guys!

After being at the JAE and getting a member of the sxoc, I still need to introduce myself.

My name is Arne, but on JAE it changed to Arnie (Although I don't have that much in common with that little Schwarzenegger-boy).
I am 25 years old, living in Germany (Lower Saxony).
At the moment I am working as a marketing assistent, at the weekend I am Batman.

To be honest, the batcave is a gas station and I earn some extra money by being rude to customers and sending them to places, they didn't ask for

My car is a S13, and it took some money and a lot of help by JJ to make it my dream. To keep it short, it is running a HD stage 2 chip with all things needed.. and a bit of bling bling thanks to a GPsports Bodykit, kouki taillights and M2 Hanbai DT05R 17" chrome rims.

    Hope you'll like it!

Thanks to everyone from the SXOC, who made my trip to the UK such an awesome event, I already miss the fun I had!

    Cheers,

    Arne

    Yeah, the crocodile dundee hat
I got myself the yellow/dirty S14a racing edition seats, they are a bit lower then S13 facelift seats. But it's still not that comfortable

    Thanks Mark!
I don't care how long it takes to become an official member You guys are all busy with work, family and pets, and doing this in your free time. So no need to hurry, right after that whole lot of work the SXOC-staff had!

It was more than worth it, thanks again for organizing that much fun!

Will have been my only holiday this year, and I can't think of anything I would have liked more!

    Thanks mate!

Actually there is a lot going on with S13s in Germany.
We got the sxce.de, which is mainly for S14. And there is the sxoc.de, which consists mostly of S14/a.

Really sad to see how they are separated.

From the 19th till the 22nd of september we got the Nürmeet. Thats a big meeting of SX-Drivers close to the Nuerburgring.
We got sixth Nürmeet, it started in 2003.

This is what it looked like last year:

That does look like quite the meet! I've been to Germany for holidays a few times and one thing you notice is that they have much better taste in cars than people over here! There's always so much nice stuff driving around.

    @s15rkm:
If you want to be a victim of the Nuerburgring, then your friend is right
As your car really looks awesome, don't do it
But it's not forbidden to drive a bit carefull without jumps over the curves, so it wouldn't be a problem I guess.

    @Ron:
Nah, most of the people buy german cars, which are kind of boring!

    Thanks dbts14

    Hi

Think I met you, although can't be sure which one you were as putting so many forum names to face and real names to forum names lol. If it helps I kinda ran into a trailer whilst there....

Lovely S13.. really nice. Any more pics?

Do you mean on the 'ring specifically or just about German roads in general? Why would being low be a problem on a race track?

    Hey Matthew!

    So you are the trailerqueen!
I was the large fella with that tiny red chair and the ugly hat.. If that helps you. I was one of the guys running back to you, after we just saw "not happy feet" in the air Oo

I just looked at the S15 in the signature, so i supposed its rather low.
If you wanna drive it hard on the Nuerburgring, some parts of the bodykit could get damaged. If you drive hard, and think you're the next Hamilton..
It is dangerous, last Nürmeet 2 of the cars crashed. One was completely wasted, the other one just had small damages.
But both are experienced drivers, lots more spinned around or similar.

Road condition is not that good, and most people are surprised by weight transition.

I haven't been on it, cause I don't dare it with proper brakes and suspension.

German Roads are okay, could be better.
Especially in East Germany you don't have problems with lowered cars, there are no speed bumps.
In West Germany the roads are.. well.. better than in the Netherlands

    Cheers

Thanks for the pickup! I may have done a (slow) yard-of-ale and some absynth, but honestly it wasn't because of that.. I just didn't see the trailer in the dark! lol

I always thought the nur had a pretty good condition track! Sounds like it's worth while having a few rides round in the ring taxi first!

    Matthew
