Little Havens Trackday (ish) - Sunday 14th September

Right people, appealing to your heart strings and love of motoring all in one go.

My other half works for http://www.littlehavens.org.uk/ - a childrens hospice for end of life care fo kids.

They are holding a fundraising trackday at Dunton. Sadly there are no track spaces available but they do have a nice selection of ferrari's, ford gt's and lambo's who will be selling passenger rides for £25 for a few laps.

They are looking for modified cars for a small show to go alongside the track event.

Here's where you lot come in. It would be just grand if the sxoc as a club could make an appearance. I have a small (3x3m) marquis i will take so all that would be needed is the lend of a club banner and a few of you to give up a few hours of your time (and money if you are feeling flush) to help make the day of a lot of eager kids.

This is being held on Sunday 14th September at the Dunton test facility from 10.30 to 4pm.

Your attendance, wether just to browse the cars on display or hitch a ride round the track would be much appreciated.

I am going to put this in the general chat section aswell. Maybe a mod could make this a sticky for me (please ).

    Thanks

One of the engineers where i work is doing a sponsered climb up Mt Kilimanjaro for little havens hospice, some of the blokes went down there for a tour and it pulled at there heart strings BIG time. It is a very worthy charity as they only get about 2% funding from the goverment.

Here's the web for all the details of his climb:-

    Many thanks,

    shane

Arse. This is exactly the sort of event I like to assist at. But no car
Where ever you go, never take an idiot with you. You can be sure you'll find one when you get there.
