    Opinions please!

Thinking of using these on motorway jaunts and shows?
    Are they ok or chavy?
And also what is the legality of these,i am assuming they will allow white light through as are only lightly tinted, and i only use the car in the day 90% of the time!
    Don't hold back,flamesuit is on

You only need two tools in life - wd-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the wd-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

And if you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem!

Looks awful and i cannot believe they are even remotely legal on the public roads.
Plus the amount of light output will be even worse than the stock s14a projector lamps (which is awful in the first place)

But is it a good idea or not??

Id have to agree tho - a bit chav and theres absolutely no way they will be road legal. Id think up another one personally

Yep thats fair enough guys, meant to add that theres hid's behind them,so plenty of light available!
I was quite happy, but then i saw a dark blue corsa with blue lights and it did look gash
These are only headlight covers and i only sprayed one up as i ended up buying 3
So no good set of covers were ruined in the making of this thread (Yet )

I may spray them darker blue and just pop them on at shows/trackdays

They'll only be illegal if the light coming out of them looks blue otherwise they'll be fine.

Not sure on the whole look, but hey got to be better defence against stone chips than nothing

As with any safety feature, modifying the lights is asking for trouble. Imagine you hit a biker or some old fool pulls out in front of you at night and you T-bone him. The impending legal action brought gainst you just isnt worth it.

Yes thats what sort of gave me the idea! just thought i'd go with blue and see what they looked like! will leave them i think! will see what this looks like at a distance and with the lights on etc first, too much hassle to bring the car out today!

Nor me,once i saw that corsa yesterday,me and my missus turned to each other and said, forget doing the other cover
Think i'll try properly colourcoding it,just for shows?

as def said, you are allowed no lights during the day, so black is fine .... The rozzers might take offence at you having BLUE though as it explicitly says in the law you are not allowed blue lights !

I would suspect even if they dont emit blue light, that the attention in the day they will bring will be enought of an excuse for the police to warrant pulling you and giving the car a once over

    Do YOU like them?
If so thats all that matters mate, it would be boring if we all liked the same thing.
If you like it then do it, stand out and be proud to be unique.

My penneth is I quite like them, just be carefull of being pulled for "imitating a police officer"

Not keen on the colour, but I do like the way they make them look like 1-piece lights! Dont do them black for gods sake, saw em on one black 200sx with red wheels before and looked incredibly poor in my eyes.

Though I do like your wheels, a LOT!
