    What tyres for 10.5j & 9.5j

    Hi,
I've bought some wheels for my 180sx Rear 18x10.5 +1 Front 18x9.5 +15 I'm going for the agresive look, What tyres should I use??

If the tyres are streched won't the over all diameter be less? so instead of a +2 i would need a +2.5 +3??? (or am i just thick lol)

Any help or would be much appreciated!!!

    Cheers

Sorry forgot to mention! Yeh, tho, the front an rear archies have been de-liped I've done a test fit an the front fenders shouldn't need any more work with good strech they should achieve the stance im after, the rear archies will need rolling abit!
I've just bought some top rear adjustible camber arms but i'm a mechanic retard!

Prob something like a 225/40 on the front and a 255/35 at the back

If you want the stretched look id go with a 225 on the front and a 245 on the back, maybe even a 235 for a real extrreme stretch. Thinking with those offsets you will need a flare on the back for definate, and the front will very be close with standard wings, may have to run a fair bit of camber or get wider front wings to get the tread under.

Thanks guys! yeh i do want the strech look but not extreme, So i should go for F 18/9.5j on a 225/40 an 18/10.5j on a R 245/40 (i take it that the more strech the higher the tyre wall needs to be??)

I'm running 9.5 et2 on the front with a 225 on standard but rolled arches and it looks great

It does lock up against the arch on a harsh slope though.

Im putting my 18x10's ET30 on soon with standard rear arches and Im going for either a 245/35/18 or a 245/40/18 tyre, when I make my mind up

The later, check my signature for archenenmy link Although I dont think we have a rep near you so you will either have to pay extra petrol on top of normal prices for me to come to you, or come to me which will be more than 100 miles for a round trip IIRC most bodyshop quotes I've heard from previous customers range from £800-£1500

Edit: Dont rush though, I broke my roller on a E46 M3 today and need to get it fixed

Very nice wheel choice. 245/40s will be fine on the rear with some archwork. They will look very good

I'd do 225's at the front and 235's at the rear. I run 225's on my 9j R33 rims and it's a mild stretch tbh.

Edit, just realised you've already sorted this, lol, ignore above post.
