so thats all you guys can do then is take the piss out of my spelling, thanks for that guys.
At least your getting free bumps
I still like it
lowering springs and a brand new as its not yet on but in the box act paddle clutch
i dont mind i could fit the clutch to it. and dont now wat the springs are sorry i couldt be more help fully about that. you interested
here are some more pics that some of you have asked for
Bodywork looks clean enough, but...underneath doesn't look the best. I'll pass on it, appreciate the time you've taken to put up the pics. good uck with the sale.
same here.. a bit put off by the rust.. but good luck with the sale!!
I still think it's a bargain, i'm just allergic to rust...
ok no probs but you ant going to fine a car on here or out there with the same spec for the same amount of cash
no but a £5500 car that seem's like a bargain soon becomes a £1500 car once you poke at the rust, then once your finished with welding it up properly your £5500 bargain doesn't seem so much a bargain after a week or more welding it. and to get it done in a garage it would cost, as any decent garage aren't going to fanny it up, they'll do it properly and that could, can and does run into a hell of a lot of time...which in turn is money!
You'd be far better to break it, prob make more money that way...and if you do the cash will prob roll in quite quickly.
if you do.....dib's on the drivers door
and the sideskirts and rear lights
mate no affence right but with out looking at it and feeling it you dont have any idea at all. that is non structual rust and only surface. so befor you try and put more peopel off so you can try and have the door shut up.
first you take the piss about my spelling and then move on to this it ant really on.
well since arguing is pointless, we'll leave it there.
The door would save me paint a scratch on my own one as it's the same colour. I was genuinely interested in it as a 2nd car for my wife, if i'd travelled to Swansea and seen that i'd of walked away so it's only really constructive criticism. I used a strip and clean on the underside of mine...which actually didn't need it, although the front cross-member did etch-primered it then a good coat of matt black before stone-chipping and cavity waving it all. Maybe you should hit the underside of yours with strip and clean and a good stonechipping as well, would help a lot.
T be honest it does just look like surface rust but could easily put a few people off Underseal or even a coat of hamerite could possibly help
1998 Nissan 200sx s14a , 2000 std 5 speed with nismo supercoppermix clutch bn6 Sapphire Blue
thanks mate might have a go at that soon if the weather will let me.
My car is similar to yours age wise, yours is a far better spec.
Its the oldest of the S14a', lots of which are seeing rust.
Being honest, at that type of money, last thing people will wanna see, is rust or any formation of it.
Its seems to be the biggest enemy to the 13 owners and soon 14's. And it only get worse.
I really hope you sell it and are happy, as your car is what I want mione to look like, and I plan to hang onto it for a few more years.
The very last pic of the sill's it looks as though it's got a plate on it?
But if you give it a good go with a wire brush then either black hammerite as said above or a good stonechip, which you can get i rattle can's, it would tidy the underside right up.
