Do you think these would look good on my car? Are they light? I know they are 2 peice and forged 17*7 and 17*8. What kind of tyre size would you recommend? I have some eagles in 215/45/17 for the front... 245/40/17 for the back? Any ideas?
Cheers

I would go for 225/40/17 on the rear.
Cheers for the replies... and i've done it now! I reckon from searching they are pretty light, decent offset etc, and 17s are about right for the SX I think (my 18s are too hard, heavy as jupiter and are kerbed a bit thanks to the rain!)
225 on the back. Yeah I was thinking that (cheaper?) but I don't go for that "Stretch" thing too much. Would I get any "rim protection" from overlap with a 225?
On an 8" rim I would say that it would be just a bit, but not much
Do you mean you want this kind of "rim protection"..............LOL!!
That's what I've got now with the 15's! What I really want the sidewall straight down with maybe a couple of mm kerbside of the wheel edge...
yeah I would say that 225 would be ok for that
I'm ordering Nismo S-tune and ARBs this month from the states, will a 25mm/15mm drop be enough lol?
I didn't use to like 3 spokes but they've really grown on me. Aside from the spokes the offsets and weights and sizes all seem to be very suitable for the car.
get a good pic of your car and a decent pic of the wheel (not the one above) in order to photoshop it
This is the only one I can find that might be suitable....
Are those the wheels you have on now?
I have 2 of them on, 1 of the others has a bit of a kerb scar, and 18s are too hard for my daily drive. And tyres are expensive for 18s so..
Are you selling those wheels on it mate?
Fook, nevermind, mine's 5 stud... only noticed on closer inspection to your pic they were 4 stud...

4 stud FTW Why would you want bigger brakes etc?....
Thinking about 235/45/17 Eagles as I can get them cheap on the rear rims (8".) Do you guys think i will be ok with clearance? Even after fitting S-tunes? Cheers
If you want to compare prices on tires Camskills is very good, here you go:

Thanks for the link, £81 is pretty good! Just know no-one will be in when they deliver though Anyone any idea if I can fit them under arches with standard/s-tune?
Also does anyone know if i will need special nuts as the holes look tall/thin on them???
