Thanks Chris beat me to it.

    Another donation.

    £5 from Scott Drayton

Who isn't a board member (no internet) but does get help from Steve, I asked him if he'd donate, he didn't hesitate!

Paypal is great and so easy, but, I know that when I receive money, I get charged commission. So you loose the money you withdraw.

It is so easy to set up though.

Barry, you set up an a/c at www.paypal.com

That way anyone with a credit card and an e-mail address can send you/steve money.

Reason I suggest it is "real" money is a bit tight at the moment but a few more quid on the credit card is not going to make any difference

    BTW,

Is there a target amount for this Barry? Has Steve done a damage assesment yet?

Reason is that the fund is up to £160 in 30 minutes

Looks like Steve might be back on the road in no time

    As much as poss really

I'm pretty sure its a bit more serious than that. From the battering the spark plug got and the dent in the top of the piston I have come to the conclusion that either piston and conrod have come apart or conrod and crank. All pretty bad really.

So the parts list so far looks like:

    Piston
    Conrod
    Head with valves
    Possibly block
    Possibly turbo.
    Complete engine gasket set
    Bearings.

    Arse.

    But it shall live again!!

    Eventually.
