I would like to say that any of you who have rung Steve up in the past and asked for his help, or just popped over to see if he can have a look at something, or deluged him with PM's, or whatever.. Owe him something in return, not because you have to but because you should.

Additionally, I would give more money myself, but I'm getting married in 26 days, if Steve can't get the money together, I'll arrange accomodation etc for him myself.

Just a thought but perhaps there is something we could raffle to encourage people, doesn't have to be worth much (or indeed worth anything). I have a few S13 bits lying around I'd happily donate but I doubt anyone would want a set of standard s13 springs Any other ideas?

I've not dealt with steve personally at all but hey, he seems a decent bloke ...actually I read a lot about his help so I know he's been there for lots of people.

How about you pay him £10 now, let him get his car sorted, then ask him to fit your engine and to quote you? No matter what happens he is cheaper (and often better) than 99% of places you'll find.
