Hay everyone! ive been on the forum for quite a while looking at 200sxs since one of my mates bought an s14a. i decided that as im only 18 the s13 is a better idea for myself. i was going to pay about £1500 for a s13 but due to insurance problems it got put on hold untill i thought it would be a laugh to look on ebay and see if i can find a bargin one. i have no years no claims due to being on my dad's insurance and 3 point for speeding and my insurance from bell.co.uk's 10 month bonus accelorator is £1704.44 :P
I then bid on this old gal below, i won this s13 for a bargin £730

The paint work is horrible but will make an awesome drift machine soon enough. i went down to collect it thinking it would be a none runner basically that needs loads of work but at first glances i cant see much wrong with it rust isn’t bad :s arches are ok boot lid isn’t bad and seals seem ok (but im new to pointing out rust could be a bucket). the guy gave me all the MOTs it has ever done as well which is a good sign of it not been rolled back. The speedo is screwed basicly; my mate has a picture of it at about 160mph... but a clio over took me... as i was only cruising it home. i drove about 130miles home, then showed it off to my mates and nothings happened so far *touch wood*
i dont have any pictures myself but will get some in the morning hopefully. along with rewiring the stereo as at some point they have been cut :@ and maybe if i can be bothered change the oil etc as god knows how long thats been sitting there for.
i have plans for changing the alloys suspension gauges exhaust dump valve and induction. at a later date i may change the front bumper as i dont like the pre-facelift but for £730 i cant whine too much also i may change to an s14 LSD depending on how it drifts :P
i hope to see you all at meets im located in Bristol ive already bought my tickets for japfest and though i guess i wont be able to put my car on the stand ill pay ya all a vist.
Thanks
