Final got my first s13!!! :D

Hay everyone! ive been on the forum for quite a while looking at 200sxs since one of my mates bought an s14a. i decided that as im only 18 the s13 is a better idea for myself. i was going to pay about £1500 for a s13 but due to insurance problems it got put on hold untill i thought it would be a laugh to look on ebay and see if i can find a bargin one. i have no years no claims due to being on my dad's insurance and 3 point for speeding and my insurance from bell.co.uk's 10 month bonus accelorator is £1704.44 :P

I then bid on this old gal below, i won this s13 for a bargin £730

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MEWN:IT&ih=017

    1989 200sx red 70k on the clock 100% standard

The paint work is horrible but will make an awesome drift machine soon enough. i went down to collect it thinking it would be a none runner basically that needs loads of work but at first glances i cant see much wrong with it rust isn’t bad :s arches are ok boot lid isn’t bad and seals seem ok (but im new to pointing out rust could be a bucket). the guy gave me all the MOTs it has ever done as well which is a good sign of it not been rolled back. The speedo is screwed basicly; my mate has a picture of it at about 160mph... but a clio over took me... as i was only cruising it home. i drove about 130miles home, then showed it off to my mates and nothings happened so far *touch wood*

i dont have any pictures myself but will get some in the morning hopefully. along with rewiring the stereo as at some point they have been cut :@ and maybe if i can be bothered change the oil etc as god knows how long thats been sitting there for.

i have plans for changing the alloys suspension gauges exhaust dump valve and induction. at a later date i may change the front bumper as i dont like the pre-facelift but for £730 i cant whine too much also i may change to an s14 LSD depending on how it drifts :P

i hope to see you all at meets im located in Bristol ive already bought my tickets for japfest and though i guess i wont be able to put my car on the stand ill pay ya all a vist.

    Thanks
    Alex (CR33CH)

Was gonna say - surprised he sold it him so cheap, must have cost him more than that just for panels, let alone sticking it on a jig to straighten it! Unless he just left it bent and repaired the exterior?

All that blood as well .
Must have had all new interior, so a pretty good price for all the work done.

you seen a picture of this that i havnt?, aslong as its been repaired to a good standard its a good buy!

if you using it as a drift machine, you will probarbly smack it up a bit anyway.

your all a bunch of w**kers! lol

i took to pictures today but later on tonight i took off the spoiler so not the way it looks now. from under the boot it looks like abit of welding took place but looks good from the top. just need the holes welded or something. ive put covers over the holes n abit of sealer.

Does anyone know if the face lif bumper fits directly in place of the pre-facelift? if it does i wouldnt mind buying one if someone has a dark red one!
