Hello, recently buy some pistons wiseco for ca18det, and I have a problem with them, the pistons in the position PMI collide in the oil jets, I would like to know if anybody has had this problem.
Thanks
A greeting.

I assume PMI means BDC (bottom dead centre)?
Check that the pistons are in the correct way round, ie maybe turn them 180 deg's.
Check that they have cut outs for the squirters.
Yeah, my ACL ones were the same they have to go in the correct way
I believe those are the american wiseco pistons for converting a CA18DE (which has no squirters) to a DET
the piston ref is: K630M835 in the wiseco catalog says CA18DET
I had this problem with my Wossner pistons. The cut out wasn't quite the right size. So I sent them back along with a standard piston and they re shaped them.
whats source for those which wont fit?the piston ref is: K630M835 in the wiseco catalog says CA18DET

yes, the source is ebay but in the pistons head says K630M835 ref
Thats not the part number of the Wiseco's Apex sell - which fit fine.
and this lucky number is...?
and... eh wtf? on wiseco.com:
K630M835 - Nissan CA18DET 4vp Flat Top * Turbo *
K630M83 83.00
K630M835 83.50
K630M84 84.00
They dont have non turbo version in catalog!!
http://wiseco.com/PDFs/Catalogs/SC08...ruToyotaVW.pdf
Those MUST fit.
Are You really sure that You fit those in right way ??
Please check! and msg us...

if it is for the problem that they touch on the oil squirter we talked to wiseco and they told us that you need to play around with the position of the oil squirter or make a little notch on the piston with a grinder and it won't affect the pistons.
well, in other words - not worth buying them, unless You have some machine shop nearby.
Because If You will drill it by Yourself theres a big chance that You will alter weight of each one, and... thats nooo good...
I'm just interested if theres a chance of adjusting squirters enought to fit pistons...
basically, lowering squirters by 5mm might help... O_o

Or buy the ones that work from somewhere else.
yup, thats the way.
Ours are custom made for us and arent available anywhere else except through ourselves.
Or take the oil squirters off!
Although in the long term this probably isnt the best idea
