These are the results from a set of brand new 800cc Venom/TLF injectors tested by Abbey
This was at only 2.5bar pressure. Any more and the results would be even worse.

Nismo, SARD, Trust, HKS, Power Enterprise etc. Any of the good Japanese tuners will be good since they are extremely pedantic about everything. If you can find some german injectors or non-reworked injectors they should be fine also.
I have heard and read more bad things about them then good, however Jez has mapped on them and says that D-werks are ok.

Can you overspec injectors? i.e. running 600s on a standard setup with the view to upgrading? Or would it cause too many issues?
You can overspec yes, but you will need a SAFC or a remap, as the bigger injectors will be flowing more fuel at the same duty cycle. If I read correctly, the CA18 batch fires injectors below 3800 RPM, after that it fires the injectors sequentially. This means that you can operate at a minimum of a 60% cycle. You sould not run injectors higher than 85% duty.
What power do you have? Stock? You can run 600's, but as above, you will need a remap unless you have a programmable ECU (and know how to program it).

Old days, big injectors wouldn't dwell short enough to idle well, nowadays it's different.
I was bored so I created a quick spreadsheet that works out injector flow, and max power for a given injector set, I'm pretty sure its right (I am reading the Graham Bell books atm), but if it isn't, i'm sure one of the more knowledgable guys advise me on my errors!
Rememberthe static flow is based on the RPM point that makes that maximum hp figure, so its not required all the time since the engine is not making maximum hp all the time.

fwiw deatchsworks dont seem as bad and only use a small overbore unlike the venoms so they could be ok carl has a set with an independent flow test that says theyre fine but i personally still wouldnt use them as theyre still reworked ones
RC does not = Venom
i had 4x 720-740cc Venom injectors, but they were to "good" so i had to switch to same size but Greedy ones witch runs perfect even at idle.
i would not recommend them, you get what you pay for.
