The forum is relatively quiet over the weekend and it has been less than 24hrs to be fair! SR20det gearbox fits just swap the bellhousing over.

    From a quick google search

As Arry says its no stronger, essejtially tye same internals as SR box. You have to step up to the RB25/Z32 boxes. They are beefier than SR/RB2O but you need maxworks bellhousing conversion or similar.

The gears themselves and the selector fork (of the CA box, the SR one is weaker) are pretty strong anyway. What tends to go is the input shaft bearing and make a whirring noise. But you can change that:

A lower mileage box won't necessarily make it better for handling bigger power outputs

Yes the plastic bush can wear and cause issues selecting gears i need to replace mine and was thinking of getting a metal one as i think gktech do them!

if you want a gktech brass one, let me know, I took mine out and replaced it with a plastic one due the noise at high rpm.

might be OK with a standard shifter but with my short shift, it's a pain.
