any updates ?
Put the primer on last week and got it rubbed down with the wet and dry, but poped the lid off the paint and it was the wrong colour.
My paint supplier doesn't sell 2K basecoat anymore and the Vauxhall Horizon Blue I'd got was from a 1963 car and is a lovely light pastel blue!
The colour I painted my car as it turns out is now called Chinese Blue and was only produced for one year for the Vauxhall 90th anniversary (paint code 4JU).
Anyway, after a bit of faffing around, the paint is on it's way and will be here on Wednesday.
Can we see what it looks like in primer George?
yeah get some pics up !
OK, without going into too much detail...

Using a guide coat to see how far to take down the primer with the P400 wet and dry. Basically just a matt black aerosol and keep rubbing till all the black disappears
And finally P800 wet and dry to get rid of any scratches from the P400
lol, do you actually have time to do any powder coating George?
With all your work elsewhere on the car, I'm surprised you've kept the -almost- standard front bumper.
looking good mate !
I still maintain this is going to be one of the, if not the very best looking S13. Those arches just make it so much more masculine!
