ive a heavy duty clutch in car and ive noticed since ive got its sometimes very hard to select first and reverse is this the fault of the clutch or is something starting a go in the gearbox car is a red top silvia 2litre turbo and also if its the clutch would a xtd 6 paddle from an s14 fit it as i have one a these here at minute

sounds like clutch clearance issue to me.

try bleeding the system if that doesn't work try lenghthening the rod on the pedal to the master cylinder a little
