new wiseco pistons

looks like Wiseco are listing pistons on the shelf for the CA and they're a bit different to what I've seen before. They look very much lighter for a start. weird what you find on s12 sites

but they have them for about a half a year or a year listed on the website

but:
1) you cannot order if you are not from US (or have a friend in US that will place the order for you)
2) i placed an order for custom ones, other CR, ceramic coating, ..... and it took about a month and something to have them
3) i payed 680 or 780 USD i believe for custom ones (shipping included) standard ones are cheaper
4) search for a topic made by me about forged internals

If it's anything like their other attempts to reduce the piston weight IMO I would steer clear, my dad ran a set in his race boat engine only for them to seriously fail, he managed to find an older set which were of more substance and have been fine since. Now this may not of course be the case with these being of a different design I’m just stating what my previous experiences have been with their new range.

tbh, wiseco make slipper bike engines for 4 stroke singles, and these take immence strain and revs, yet they are regarded as the best choice of piston for a bike,

with that kind of reputation i would trust them in my car any time

the design is certainly.....interesting very diferent to anything else available
