    A bit more progress made.

    Thanks to Petrol All the engine bay brackets are now plated..



    Also the rear quarters are now on and nearly ready for paint.



    As you can see I have flared them out at the bottom by 40mm to give it a 'fat' look



    Also I have started on the front bumper by filling in the indicators and opening up the front by 40mm to allow for more cooling.

    Looking good.

    Quick question; Apart from sealing the Seams what is the point of seam sealer? Will you be replacing it all afterwards?

    Seam sealer stops the water from seaping in to the joints.. I have replaced what i have removed but I have tried to do it a bit neater than nissan did

    They are 8j front and 10j rear deep dish hockenheim style wheels. No pics yet.

    Thanks m8, I dont do body work for a living, just picked stuff up after messing about with cars over the last 20 years.

    Started priming her up today, a couple off layers off primer filler and then a bit of flatening to finish..

    Yeah I agree with Pete this thread needs a lot more pics, although the progress is really looking good mate. Looking forward to seeing that modded front bumper!

    Yes I have used silkaflex and about 50 self tappers.
