    Sidelights

    Hi people,
My 200sx has HID headlight's but the side lights look really yellow at the side of them (basically crap) so was just wondering if anyone can recomend a side light bulb to fit my SX that looks more white?

    Cheers in advance Ben

I've just ordered these after looking through various threads:
    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MEWN:IT&ih=010

They've got a 180-degree spread so they don't just look like a point source

Just be aware that bright white LED’s in s14a sidelights in my experience give of a blue light which is a mot failure and a bit of a red light to your local constabulary

If the LED's produce white light then I'm sure it wont be an issue. It only becomes an issue when you fit standard blue lights that are meant to mimic the off axis tinge of blue produced by HID's.

I got these and am very happy with the result. Light output is higher than before and white with a hint of blue when in the sidelights.

Will try to get some photos tonight.

    hi mate,

the HID's are the 8000k type. I've sent you an email with the details of the bulbs I used & the match was really good

i used some very similar led bulbs to projectvti......

    match well with 6000K HIDs
there is a touch of blue to them from certain angles but not enough to worry about failing the MOT
I think the crystal sidelight lenses help make them brighter

just fitted my ebay LEDs, definately great quality etc, and they look pure white, but once they are in the sidelight casing against a set of 4000K HIDs they look too blue-ish, i'll get pics soon, but i actually prefered the not-so blue stock bulbs even though they were yellow looking
