you getting a new gear box then?

    IF a 2871 makes 470, why did I buy a TD06 25g? Or can a TD06 make 800bhp?

Again that age old point, it depends on which RR you use

Speaking from the UK results you wouldnt likely even get 400 on the 2871

i was going to say - based on science alone and the turbos compressor map you wont get any where near that 400 is about it

I will not be happy to use 350-400 hp from a turbo for 470hp.... :S

TD06 25g? And you want only 400??? Haha!
    http://www.norrisdesigns.com/demo-s13.asp
    With this turbo 613hp!

    I will buy a T88 and I run it 0.5 bar to have 450hp ok? :P

Yes I see 400 at 1.4bar! This is the boost that you use a gt2871r to make 400hp! I will use it at 1.8

On your dyno lol You will be a very wealthy man if you pop over to the UK and show all the tuners how to map and set up cars

Ok... at what boost do you use a GT2871R to have 400hp?

I would like to now how some other uk people can limited their turbos... :|

For what horsepower is 550 injectors? They will be ok?

that Norris T28 is NOT a GT28R it is a hybrid. In fact it is the turbo the Jez stage 3 chip was mapped for. It has larger internals than the T28/GT28R to be able to achieve more power. I think the RS can achieve 370bhp, the 2871r should be good for just over 400 at a push

Have a look all over the net, TD06 25G kits on an RB25det make about 490-530bhp.

    600bhp + lol, I wish.

Dont take the highest figures you see as the truth. Thats like telling your girlfriend you have a 12inch penis, you'll look stupid when she sees the truth.

I think you need to just be a bit more realistic. I you want to get over 400bhp go GT2871R, but get all the other parts too. If you want 470bhp then look for a bigger turbo and get ready to buy a lot of parts.

This is my car - I have put a lot of time and effort and money into it. I would love to think it could make 600bhp and more, but its better to hope for 480+ and get 501bhp than to look stupid when it doesnt do what you say.

Why not buy an XS power turbo kit? They make 700bhp I hear?

Maybe depends on witch power do you prefer 400 HP of blue line or 450 HP of red line

i say that because i got something like the red line 260HP on the standard T25 turbo, and i get something like blue line now on the GT2871R @300HP @1bar

with a smaller turbo pushed at max i belive you will get a nice figure but a graph like the red line

anyway what i wanted to say is not look for a good peak power but to look for a good power band between the revs were you race the car

260 on T25?? t25 version from s13 sr? if yes this is large.. also from a T25 is phsysical to get the red line!
Also If I run my turbo with lower boost I will get the blue line.... but not I have line like this "/"!

NiteRyder People got turbo that they need... ND Demo car use the same turbo like you in the same motor... this turbo was made for 600 and more...! It is hugeee turbo!

Sideways Danny gt2871r is for moreeee horses
But maybe uk have differenct dynos from the other worlds...!
As you said gt28r that can make only 300 and hard!!
But how can RS make 370?? :P This is the number that garret says :P

    Very mistery all theese...!

But I think that it isn't diffent dynos....!
Many cars here in Greece with GT2871R they have... 300... 350... 400... hp ! But there are some at the limits with 450.. 470..

ByReal; im going for a set up that should make a much smoother power curve at the moment by using what is really a too bigger turbo for my aplication,

my gt28rs was very peaky and would have looked like the red line on your power graph, and altho it was fast initially it tailed off and wasnt that great towards the redline,

i hope to now get a smooth even power all the way to the redline if at the sacrifice of a little lagg,
