i've had this idea in my mind for years now...run your car without a front plate is already half way done, but this takes care of the rest.

If the cops caught you useing it, you would get 9 months in prison for perverting the course of justice

So you install a moving number plate so that you can drive through speed cameras and not get done? There's a big switch on the floor - between the throttle and clutch, which is quite good for achieving the same effect.
Where ever you go, never take an idiot with you. You can be sure you'll find one when you get there.

If the cops were close enough for them to see it you wouldnt be doing a silly speed due to prescence of the law. Not a bad idea but no way would i spend a hundred odd quid on it Just dont drive like a nutter & hit the brakes if need be

The best part is, if it flips up, a Gatso can still read the plate 'cos it's horizontal and the camera is looking from above. To do this properly the plate should flip down.

I thought the ultimate tool against Gatso's was a tyre filled with petrol

That is the ultimate tool for gatsos...

The best way to do this an electro magnet or something, which when you press a button dies and gravity makes the plate flip down in a jiffy motorising it is stupid, and would take too long.
