Why do I need locking rings?
Whiteline subframe locking rings or 'pinapple ring' lock the rear subframe into position.

The original bushes allow movement of the subframe, even when new. These rings help lock the subframe into position but keep additional road noise to a minimum. This results in a more solid rear end which makes the rear of the car feel much more planted. They can also help reduce axle tramp when doing hard starts.

It'll be £88.40 + VAT + shipping, and a 6-7 week lead time. Let me know if you'd like to go ahead.

I'm not sure when I'll be placing an order to be honest - I have to buy a lot from Whiteline to get a decent rate.

No - these fit in addition to the standard subframe bushes.
