    Replied again fella

No worries on the triples, it's different tastes that make the car game interesting, they do look more modern, but I prefer the overall 'retro 80s pimp daddy' look it's got at the moment

Edited to add: And the squares actually project some kind of useful light at night where the triples meant eating lots of carrots before a night drive

So I'll take it you never thought of going HID then?

I still maintian it's the single best mod you can do to a 14a!

HID's were an option, but the light swap cost me nothing and I'm poor

Plus I do genuinely prefer the look of the squares

Pete C, Delboy - sorry to hijack your thread slightly, but did you have to roll the arches to get the R33 wheels on, or do they fit straight on with no rubbing?

Oh, and have a free bump too

Fil, no rolling was required on the Sileighty, if the car was really low the rear arches would probably need trimming or rolling though

    Thanks mate.

I think the stance it has at the moment is spot on. Lowering it any further isn't required IMO.

Good luck with the sale - shame you're have to move her on so soon

Cheers mate, I agree, think she looks spot on as she is

It is very gutting having to sell up, the only thing that makes it any better is thinking that if I sell up now and clear everything off I'll be able to buy another soon enough and actually have some spare money for more than one tank of fuel a month

On really hard cornering (i.e. on track) the rear tyres do hit the arches, you don't notice it at any other time though.

That's with 245/45s (so quite big), you could sort it with a lip roll, slightly narrower tyres or just a touch more camber

Deposit taken, she goes to her new home in the week

On the plus side, the new owner seems a thoroughly top bloke and I think she's going to a good home
