okay after 12 years the itch was too much to take and I bought another one.

Dont ask how little I sold the blue one for and how much I paid for the red one (or how much I have spent on it already) makes me shudder.

    But oh its worth it.

Will do. Yes not many around at all, think I was the only one at goodwood Japanese Sunday breakfast club. Plenty of S13/14s though

Since I bought the car I have been working through a pre-MOT list. Starting with... front brakes.

Something tells me those disks are not the right size given the car has S13 hubs and 300zx calipers

bit of a hunt to find the right S13 disk to fit,

the caliper brake pad pins had totally seized in cotter pins so new pins and spring was required as well. In case you are wondering Skyline ones fit listed on ebay as Sumitomo Front Caliper Brake Pad Hardware Kit - For R32 GTR RB26DETT Non V Spec

Rear brakes are also knackered. Hoped a good clean a fettle might get them going as the car has only done a few 100 miles in the last 3 years. but no it didnt (more on that later)

While I was there I cleaned the arches out and added some underseal to give some winter protection. The rust monster is on the car and I need to keep it at bay until summer 2019.

    Better

I used to have a 12. It looks like they're getting a bit more popular now. Very under rated.

Had a MOT pre inspection giving me the nice list of

    O/S front brake pipe corroded
    N/S front brake pipe corroded
    O/S tie rod boot split
    N/S tie rod boot split
    N/S ball joint boot split
    O/S front shock leaking
both rear disks pitted and scored
    N/S rear caliper non functioning
    O/S rear caliper weak.

So I set to work ordering some new front shocks, thank you ebay, from a S13 as those hubs are already fitted. before fitment I measured the stock preload, dismantled and greased the spring plates to stop any creaking and cracking noises.

The old shocks had to come out, shame as they were TIEN, but defo knackered as all the oil leaking out showed and the top caps are really rattly.

installed on the car, set it 30mm higher while I checked that the springs were not super soft. didnt want to bottom out and hit the arches.

and they are adjustable for damping and camber

car rides much better, and thats a few more knocks, bangs and crashes gone.

Found 4 stud disks from Euro Carparts searched for a Nissan > 200SX > 1991 > 1.8L > Petrol and picked the larger size (280mm)
    I am running s13 front hubs and I think the 4 pots are from a 300ZX (Z32)
