it states if the car is fitted with abs from factory it has to work but if theres no evedence ie everything removed inc sensors then tested as without abs

Nothing in an MOT says certain models/years have to have ABS. If the control unit and pump have been removed, it would be tested the same as an older car that never had ABS fitted.

Quick test for you then A car comes in with no windscreen or wipers or washers . Pass or fail ?

An s13 comes in with no rear seats but rear belts in place , Pass or fail ?

    An s13 registered in 1993 records 2.00% co , 1100 ppm hc , Pass or fail ?

Recently bought a new set of brake lines with the intention to keep ABS, but recently read a lot about getting rid of ABS and now wonder whether I'd be better doing so... want to feel the pedals in an S14/a that has had it removed before that though...

I wouldn't remove abs unless there was a problem for that just in case situation

Put a little sticker on your clock screen.

    Im going for
Pass - no screen = no need for wash/wipe
Fail - belts fitted imply seating. No seats safely fixed.
Fail - seems high to me.

Keen to know the official answers and reasons Chris.

(maybe a new SXOC MOT game!)

    It's pass
    Pass
    Pass
Windscreen ect not fitted so not tested
Seatbelts if there's no seats then there just belts so not tested
And altho the emmisions is high and I wouldn't drive it like that it's within the limits as it's tested as a non cat test which is 3% and 1200 hc
