    Alloys will they fit ?

    Hi all,

    I am looking at a set of 18" 225.

    I know nothing about alloys.

Will these fit on a s14a without, and i am just throwing out some words here that people use when talking about alloys - I dont really know what they mean - wheel arch rolling, spacers etc.

Please let me know, as 18s sound big to me

    Cheers

    Nick

depends on offset, 18s fit, but all depends on offset! should be stamped on the wheel somewhere, it will say et?? something

You need to know more than 18" with 225 wide tyres. Are they 5x114.3 stud pattern? how wide? what offset? what profile tyre?

    4x114

    does that mean something??

but they are off a s14a so stud should be ok

i am wondering if it going to be difficult / costly to get them on

if they are 4x114.3 (4 stud) then they are more than likely off an early jap import silvia, and won't fit your S14a

Offset and fitment is all relative to wheel design. I have some deep dished 9 x 18s that are ET15. Fine you may think, but I need to fit minimum 12mm spacers on the front for the spokes to clear the std calipers! Then you need the arch clearance to actually be able to run a 9" rim with effective offset of ET +3 , which I have with 225s

Never really planned on getting alloys for my 200 but these do look good to me.
So will they fit no problem?? from the looks of it no?!

Or will someone else buy them aftere seeing this, probably.

Thanks for the the replies gang

They do look like 4 stud cant really see in the pic, will send a PM - but not expecting a positive answer - oh well
